Custom Orders

Thank you for choosing us to be a part of your special plans! Below is a guide to help streamline the ordering process.

Please keep in mind that we are a small-batch, artisanal chocolate shop. We hand-paint our chocolates and make all the fillings from scratch in-store. We are staffed by less than 8 people at any given time. Currently, we have one professional chocolatier, one assistant chocolatier, then other staff members who take care of customers visiting the store, serve tea and chocolate, and handle the packaging of these orders at the same time.

Having adequate notice and time to complete large custom orders is crucial, especially when we have several orders due in the same timeframe.

For order quantities of 100 or less: Turnaround time is negotiable, though a two week notice is highly preferred.

For order quantities of 120 or more: A minimum of one-month notice is required to ensure we have the required ingredients and supplies, as well as the staff to make and package the order.

Orders that are higher than 500 boxes: require a minimum two months’ notice, but we would prefer knowing as far as 6 months in advance.

  • Milk chocolate is available for fillings only, not for solid pieces or the shells of filled pieces.

We are open to customizing most physical aspects of an order: packaging colors, chocolate design, and fillings. However, please keep in mind that a higher level of customization in turn requires a lengthier turnaround time.

Custom Logo-printed Chocolates

If you are interested in having your logo featured in your box, we can order custom printed cocoa butter transfer sheets. These sheets allow us to affix an edible copy made of cocoa butter to a chocolate piece.

There is a one-time $200 set-up fee for these transfer sheets. This set-up fee includes one color. If your logo features more than one color, each additional color is an additional $100. For example, if your logo is one color, the set-up fee is $200. If the logo is two colors, the set-up fee is $300. If your logo is 5 colors, the set-up fee is $600.

Once you pay the set-up fee, the transfer sheets will be available for any future orders and the only payment required will be for the chocolate boxes. Unless permission is given, the logo will not be used for other orders not related to the company the logo represents.

Custom transfer sheets are not produced on-site, and are ordered through Chef Rubber. Production typically takes two weeks, not including shipping and our own production time for the pieces themselves. Please make sure to account for this timeframe when placing your order.

Frequent Answers

  • We do not offer discounts on higher quantities.
  • We do not make vegan flavors for large quantity orders. We will include vegan options from our signature flavors as best we can, but we do not currently have the recipes or capabilities to cater to all vegan orders.
  • Allergens: We are not an allergen-friendly facility. All items run the risk of contamination from allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, soy, and gluten.
